Hello Everyone,I didn’t know this was specific to manual transmission jeeps, but I agree with @voland that this shouldn’t be. It is very annoying, especially since the seat heater turns on full blast. Very uncomfortable by the time I realize it is on. Hopefully @JeepCares can provide some insight?
I confirmed per our internal sources that this feature is operating as intended. The heated seats/steering wheel are intended to automatically turn on in temperatures below around 40F for all vehicles equipped with Auto Comfort Systems, but the setting to turn the Auto Comfort systems On/Off is only built in for vehicles with automatic transmissions. For those with manual transmissions, you will need to manually turn the heated seat and steering wheel on or off once you enter the vehicle if it has already activated because of the colder temperatures. We are not currently aware of any plans to add the On/Off option for those vehicles with manual transmissions. If any one has further questions, please feel free to send us a PM!
