Finally got this installed. Did it at home on a Saturday, VERY happy with how it turned out, Their YouTube video made this stupid simple, hardest part was the stress of drilling holes in a new Jeep!

All worth it now, 800 lb static load capacity is amazing. Looks damn good and VERY well engineered.

(PART # RJLB1)

Post-install have you seen any indications of the rear caster mounting points failing like this: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...-backbone-pioneer-platform-design-flaw.40634/

Can the top be lifted off by the rack?

@American Adventurist Is this the 72" platform? I'd like to get one, but I'd like to also be able to install and use a Bestop Sunrider with the rack on so I'm trying to figure out if the 60x56 will allow that.

Second question. If I go to a 60" and it works for the Sunrider, does it look like an awning would work on the 60" and work with a Sunrider?

Yes mine is 72", I have no idea on Sunrider top compatibility, I'm a hard top or nothing guy.

An awning like the Batwing compact will work fine with the 60" Pioneer Rack.

Just did mine other day, wasn't bad at all. Took longer to put the rack together than to mount it. Definitely nerve racking though

Did you have to drill new holes into the pioneer rack to align to the casters? It's hard to tell by your pictures but it doesn't look like it. I just purchased one and had to move the rails for the front and middle caster alignment because they don't align. I have a 2019 JLUR almost identical to yours.

Yes I did, all of the above.

Have you noticed any reception problems with your XM radio? I have experienced loss of signal from the Pioneer platform covering the antenna.

Yes, mine intermittently cuts out as well. I've been needing to relocate the antenna for a while but just haven't gotten around to it. I'll have to look around to see what other folks are doing before I attempt, but I think its pretty par for the course with that system and the JLUR.

It will kill your XM. Not completely, mind you, but often enough to be highly annoying and make you turn off XM. I relocated my XM antenna with the @Maximus-3 antenna relocation bracket and my reception is as good as it was without the rack. Took me a couple hours all told due to having to undo and redo my sunshade and grab handles, and being particular about wire routing and retention. Easy install, though.

Glad you like the bracket. We too enjoy jammin out to crystal clear satellite radio.
