So you replaced your stock tires and installed new Thompsons or Toyos . You have tested them well over the past few weeks or months but somehow now you wish you could turn the calendar pages back and you had a chance to buy different tires . What tires would you rather buy and what is it you do not like about the new ones you spent so much money for?

Same boat, nothing. I’d buy these tires again. Nitro Exo-Grappler. Not sure why there aren’t more of these on this forum but so far they have been awesome.

Swapped Sahara's OE 255/70R18 Bridgestone Duelers (32.1 inch) for a set of 275/70R18 BFG KO2s (33.2 inch).

No regrets. I purposely didn't want to go too big this time.

I haven't changed mine yet on my JL. When I ordered, I upgraded my wheel package to the A/T, which I'm pretty happy with. But when it's time to get new shoes, I'll get the DuraTracs that I just put on my JKU. It really changed the look and added an 1" :like:

My KO2s have done great on ice, rain, on and off road.

They do pack with mud pretty easy and dont do so well off road when things are wet but for AT tires they are awesome. Road noise is almost impossible to hear, they wear great, and are grippy enough for me offroad.

I wouldn't let my hubby change the stock tires until he wore them out:giggle:. They still had lots of tread and life left, so I donated them to the shop to give to someone who needed them. And yes, I probably should have let him do it long ago.:like:

I really like the nitto ridge grapplers. These are my second set, went 35s to 37s.

They’ve been real consistent, no pull or push, balance out great with very little weight. They’re really quiet on the highway, and so far handles wet roads, mud, and sand really well.

Haven’t tried rock crawling yet, although it’s on my bucket list to get out to Moab one day.....:)

I changed from the stock SAHARA tires to WALMART THUNDERER TRAC GRIP M/T--($125 ea)

My SAHARA isn't a HIWY jeep--I useit mostly OFF-ROAD and now I have no problems in sand/snow-they are great off-road tires !

The first time in my entire life I've ever used tires from WALMART and they are GREAT !

After about 10k miles of fully stock driving to make sure everything was problem free, I switched out the factory 33's (285/70-17) for a set of 35 ko2's (315/70-17). Another 5k of otherwise stock miles before installing the Dynatrac lift, full steer smarts front end kit with fox ts stabilizer, 8 synergy control arms, and synergy rear track bar. Everything worked out great, but now I'm kicking myself for not looking into 37's more. I assumed that anything larger than 35 would force me into going 13.5 wide, and I was concerned that the extra flotation would negatively impact snow driving. Every year, I'm on call for emergency snow removal and only get called after the push plows get overwhelmed. I run payloaders and am usually hitting the road in the worst of it when the roads haven't been cleared yet. Not too long ago, I found out that 37's are also available in 12.5 wide. So now I'm trying to make myself wait until later in this winter season to get a set of 37x12.5-17 ko2's. Just hoping the jump to a D rated tire doesn't make for a harsher ride.

the GY are definitely a nice choice but for me here in the land of ice and snow I will look for these Wildpeaks

My JLR is an off-road toy. Installed 37" Cooper STT Pros, AEV JL Pintler wheels and Mopar lift. I wouldn't change a thing. If any of it wers out I'll replace with same.
I just looked at the Pintlers and they are so very cool , good choice , very good choice

Love my Duratracs. If for whatever reason I switched it would be to KO2s.
