The Euro bumper is ugly but way better than the JK one. I hope we will get some pricing and info about the engines.

Who's going to be present at Geneva International Motor Show? It would be nice to have some pictures and information directly from the show. I really hope they will not push orders and delivery in EU for end of 2018 - beginning of 2019.

Hate to post bad news, but I've been told by an FCA PR contact that all JLs in the EMEA region will come with the full-time transfer case, i.e. Selec-Trac. No Command-Trac, no Rock-Trac.

I've asked them to confirm this effectively means the death of Rubicon in EMEA, but because I'm a journo that asks 'difficult' questions I don't expect to get a response.

Unless this info changes next week at Geneva, it looks like I won't be buying a JL.

Hopefully not. The press release also clearly mentions both Command-Trac and Rock-Trac and also Trulok on the Rubicons, there is clearly a lot of misinformation going around, guess we will know in a few days.

The release contradicts itself hence why I asked for clarification. The clarification that came in response was that it was wrong, and that only the full time t-case would be offered.

I’d love nothing more than for that to be wrong, but I think that’s just wishful thinking.

As you say, next week we’ll get more confirmation.

That would be a weird decision by Jeep and FCA....

From these pictures it looks like the fenders on Rubicon sit lower than the ones on Sahara

?!?!?

[later edit] Actually it may just be an optical illusion given the fact that "Rubicon" is written above the bonnet line

It has that CJ style bonnet which is not available in USA
Standard fenders, not high ones. This was expected to fit both the eurobumper
