Lol
So very true!
I added a pair of Baja design squadron pros to the top to cover a dark spot. Started another list of items I want to add! Jeep = just empty every pocket!
Looks like you went with the Mopar lights on your JLUR, don’t leave the covers on and turn them on. My buddy did and melted them to the lights.

Well, after months of ordering parts I’m finally finished with my build!

Wow. Lots of good stuff. I have imagined a lot of the little things you have done. Good stuff right there.

hey @James, I have been watching your build — my kind of style, such a nice Jeep. Just wondering for your front license plate did you just drill holes and mount to the skid plate? thx man

Hi
Thank you for the Complement!
I just used self taping screws and screwed it in!

OP...Awesome

How's the on-road manners?
Hi thank you! happy New Years!

30k miles later, 15k of these miles off roading.
I had to upgrade the shocks to the Fox 2.5 fully adjustable remote reservoir, the Mopar springs are a little too soft, I would upgrade to the metalcloak one due to the extra weight.
Other than these two problems it’s been unreal off road and on road.

I have a diesel on order to replace this one.

Thanks Man @James
Truly inspirational!

I am at the budget/planning stage for my 2018 JLU.

Your list is impressive... i am still a rookie... but i would like to ask you...

what would be you absolute essentials from the list?

Thanks again

Daniel

This is a killer build for him to answer your question you probably want to refine your priorities . Is it overlanding, moderate trails or rock crawling, high speed desert runs. There is a lot of funds in this rig I suspect and does most things well.

I agree is a super difficult question. :whew:

my build is about world travel while visiting remote locations as well as using highways.

Given that James build is top of the line.... what would be a good place to start...

for example.. you start with a lift and tires or you first get a roof rack...

thank you

Daniel

Hey
Yes, it was a job and half.
All aluminum.
I’m thinking of building the same thing out of carbon fiber over Christmas.
I forgot to post these pic of the rear light

I like the rear light. Is it tied into the interior lights or is it on it's own switch? I tied my rear LED in bumper lights into my LED backup lights. I also have a separate switch in the cargo area that I can turn them on. I have diodes in place to protect the Canbus system. But I like the idea of the light on the rear glass wiper cover. Great placement. Oh and the overall build is Awesome!

Hi
Thanks!
I tied into the cigarette lighter outlet on driver-side rear.
When I get some time I’ll post my new build. I got the 2020 diesel, just got back from a 1800 mile trip, 600 miles were off road.
