In a hypothetical situation ...What would you get ?

This is my first Jeep and it has always been a bucket list car for me and so I’m in a love hate relationship currently (and as I wait patiently) as she has been in service more than I’d like in 6 mos time (presently sitting in service as I type since Fri morning) and as I look back at my beautiful military green Cherokee in the parking lot

1. 2020 Dodge Charger Scat pack (but with 3 kids - 1 in a booster, and a wife who thinks otherwise of this and the Challenger might be a hard sell
2. Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X or High Altitude
3. Dodge Durango R/T Blacktop
4. Deeply Discounted Rubicon???

Sounds like you are ready to move on...

I had FCA buy back a vehicle once. I got everything I paid back minus tax and license, which in California was like $3,500. And they honored any discounts I got on the first vehicle towards the purchase of another one.

In my case, I was refunded for a 2012 Chrysler 300S V6 I had bought for $7,000 off MSRP, and got a 2012 Dodge Challenger 392 SRT 6-speed. There were no discounts on SRTs but I got this one for $7,000 off.

It was such a fun car!

If something were so horribly screwed up that Jeep said, "screw the warranty, we'll just buy it back," I'd still get another Jeep.

Willy's or a Rubicon, in Bikini with a 3.0.

I'm loving mine so I'd say I'd get another of the same.

Though this time I might get the painted fenders and ... maybe... an automatic.

Better mileage and better in tight situations on the trail?

if that offer was given to me, i would get another jeep wrangler.

if you are having that much problems with yours, you should look into trading it in for a newer model or go to another dealership and see if their service department is any better.

So if I had to go through all the lemon law hassle I'm not sure I'd want another. But if they magically just bought my jeep and gave me enough to buy another new rubicon? Sure. Why not. :)

I hate to disappoint though, but my auto 4 door 3.6 rubicon gets about 14mpg city lol.

Depending on your uses...

-4Runner TRD pro
-Challenger or Charger SRT range (392 / hellcat etc)
- love the silly SRT Jeep Grand Cherokee

or as others have said, get back in another wrangler. Somehow it’s an easy car to love even with all its lumps.

For me, I was after the off-road capability of a Rubicon for my hunting. I have a 4x4 Crewcab GMC. It works for 90% of the hunting. But, that 10% is what I was after. I suppose a highly modified JK would be a second choice.
