wow you got hammered on that processing/doc fee. People cry in Ohio because the max is 250. That 800 goes right to the bottom line. Iā€™d never post a pic where i signed for an 800 processing fee. Thatā€™s no ā€˜greatā€™ deal.

My build: MRSP $58,890. Out the door price including 7.5% off invoice ($51,091), title ($78), processing ($799), and tax ($3,152) is $55,120.

Yup. AFTER that fee the guy got 13% off MSRP. I'm sure he's embarrassed by that. How much more than 13% off MSRP AFTER fees did you get?

Exactly. My deal of 7.5% off invoice + fees equals about 6% off invoice with no fees. Still awesome. I spoke to the owner of a local dealership who said they buy jeeps at 3% off invoice and had no idea how my dealership made profit at such a discount. I'll have to fly 1-way to DC for $97. So taking that into account thats 5.7% off invoice or 11.6% off MSRP. Im happy.

My dealer gave me a list (as I posted above) to show each option for my build, the MSRP for each option, and FWP (invoice) for each option and then paperwork showing selling price. This to me is the only way to be sure what a dealer is charging and calculate a ā€˜percentage offā€™. I mean these are car salesman. I canā€™t trust them and Iā€™m certainly going to verify. I wish Iā€™d of posted my build before signing so someone couldā€™ve pointed out the high dealer fee and gave me suggestions.

I paid EP minus HB plus a 250 doc........12% off of a Sport S. Would be the equivalent of 16-17% off of a Rubicon.

No. That's the equivalent of 12% off a Rubicon. So you didnt do as well as the deal you mocked. But, sounds like you did get a nice deal too. Congrats.

My Rubicon msrp is 58,890. Invoice is 55,234. So about a 6.2% difference. Iā€™d love to see a 16-17% discount off msrp for the Rubicon. Iā€™ll happily fly anywhere for that lol

Ok again post a copy of a Rubicon INVOICE not invoice price. Find EP on the invoice and subtract HB. I paid employee minus hold back then do the math.

Using that math against the numbers on my personal order, that would have been 13.5% off MSRP off a Rubicon. A great deal as I said. And within $300 of the deal you mocked. And are you an employee? Did you use a tread lightly discount? Or was that straight up random person buying a Jeep?

I see you're from Ohio...down here in Florida $800-$1000 dealer fees are the norm. It's extremely rare to find a Jeep dealer with fees less than that, and generally the ones that have lower fees won't negotiate as hard on the price. I hate it, but that's how it is down here.

I got 5% off invoice (11% off MSRP) and no dealer fee and no tread lightly discount. Based on some of the other reported purchases, 6% off invoice and no fees is probably about the best deal. I avoided any travel costs and got this deal 5 miles from my house.
Just sent you a PM...
