Metal Cloaked the front and rear diff skids. Super easy install. MC only sells the front diff skid with their cover, so I had to paint and install that as well. I used bed liner for the paint since I already had some. The new diff cover is about as thick as a cast iron skillet and weighs about 3 times what the factory one does. With the new cover the front diff holds about a quart more fluid.

I have a rock-induced exhaust leak to fix then I’ll be installing the rest of the skids. They are very high quality for sure.

The family truckster, suburban. I generally don't like Chevy but that thing is a tank, zero problems ever.

I am relocating the stabilizer when i put in the rest of the skids. The metal cloak relocation system wouldn't work on my fancy-smancy ATS so i had to buy the yeti tie rod and relocation brackets. And then i threw the pretty red yeti track bar in the shopping cart too. It's all in my garage waiting to get installed. Thanks for the close inspection of my pic and advice!

Couple questions...can the tire carrier easily swing out independently of the tailgate? Also, where/how did you order it? I can't find a order procedure on Roam's web site.
They finally have them in stock

Ex-auto quality engr & mgt. Now just enjoy life.
Pushed in all my fuses. I thought everyone must be exaggerating how bad the fuses are installed, but wow! Some of them were wobbly and were all different levels of (un)seated. The tall gray and black relays(?) were the worst. I wasn't having any problems but I can see why it is recommended to check them.

Work on my hardware material transport set-up today.
I do a lot of réno, and I transport lumber, molding melamine shelf, etc... in the Jeep.
I not always able or want to pin my trailer to the Jeep.
In my JK I use to lay it down on the seat and dash, but not my new JL.
I want to protect it. That why I made this set-up that is always on hand.

Well, awile ago someone posted about upgrading to an H7 group 94 battery fitting but needing to alter the hold down.
I replaced my stock 770cca battery that came with the towing package with the Odyssey 94r-850. A perfect fit, exactly the same size. I'm set for a minute. It seems to be a real beast
