The KO2s are widely considered to be one of the best All-Terrains are the market. What sold me on the Ridge Grapplers is that they are meant to be a hybrid of an All-Terrain and a Mud-Terrain which means slightly more aggressive looking and slightly better off-road performance than a KO2. Also, all the reviews said they are quiet and smooth on the pavement so I was sold, and they were right!
About to pull the trigger on the same tires. With these you have 2 different sidewall patterns to choose from. I was considering the block look but it appears everyone has made the choice you have. What to do, what to do?

I think this side is considered the slightly more aggressive tread pattern, but it’s your tires and your wrangler so do what you like best!

Folks that have a 285/70/r17 on their sport (particularly ko2): how's the fit? Wondering about rubbing around tight corners, in particular.

I don’t have the KO2 but the Nitto Terra Grapplers are perfectly fine- no rubbing and actually feels like it grabs the corners better!

If you drive straight from the dealer to a tire shop are you likely to get a decent buck for your tires when you buy new or are you better off selling on the aftermarket?

I got $120 each, or $600 total with 450 miles on mine.

Was that a big chain or local tire shop?
A local tire shop but they based it on original tire cost to them and what they felt they could get for them. It as good as trading with the dealer day one but not terrible I guess.

Thanks. Never sold tires to a tire shop before so trying to figure out how it works.

Get them!! I’m telling you they are quieter than the factory Goodyear tires, I was insanely impressed and they look badass. More aggressive than KO2s.
How would these look with Ocean Blue, though?

How much air did you put on these tires?
I recently got these tires but the Jeep seems shaky at 65+ speed.

Abi

Had these put on Nighthawk this afternoon! Huge upgrade over the factory tires, they look super aggressive but are still surprisingly quiet and smooth on the road. I haven't gone back to my dealer to update the computer yet so I'm sure the speedo is a few miles off. The Jeep still feels plenty peppy and powerful even with the larger tire and I have no apparent rubbing at full turn although I have yet to flex her fully. Lift will most likely be the next upgrade, you can follow the journey over on Instagram @NighthawkJLU
