It’s that time of year again! Time to let go of the Rubicon suspension (Takeoffs) I’ve been running for a year.

Installed:
~1” (2” 2-dr) Synergy front and rear dual-rate coils. (+0.5” Teraflex spacers)
2” Teraflex shock extensions.
Teraflex 1.5-4.5” progressive bump stops.

A lot of people complain about the stiffness of the digressive Falcon shocks, so I was going to do something about it.
As you can see these Synergy coils are SOFT (even softer than stock). Ride is nothing short of amazing, as expect, paring these soft Synergy coils with stiff Teraflex shocks took the roughness out for on-road driving, but still handles great. End result is a very stock-like comfort, but much less body roll and way more control.

Tire is Falken Wildpeak 33 x 11 R18, will be swapping them out for GY Duratrac 35 x 11.2 R18 next week, should fill that extra space in the wheel-well just a tad better.

You can see that the Synergy coils are about 2-3" longer than Rubicon's, un-sprung. Ended up lifting around 1.5" overall. I'm now sitting a little over 2" higher than stock Gladiator Rubicon.

Can you fold that one all the way down or just back to the slanted part?
It just folds back to the rear seats, sorta like taking off the front two freedom panels. This one doesn’t fold back all the way, however you can take out the windows in the rear and roll as a bikini top. Bestop just announced one at SEMA that goes all the at back. See video pretty neat ! ()

I’m strongly considering those. How is the build quality/light output?
The build quality is very good. I went for a short drive last night to see how they are and am very impressed. Installation was very easy.

Installed the Mopar JL Hood Lock on my 2019 JLUR. Got it from SouthwestMopar.com (an actual Jeep Dealer locally) for $176 plus tax. Had a local locksmith key it for $45. Took about an hour and a half to put together and install but I am not very quick moving. Was fun learning how to use a riveter. Never done that before.

I know the Bolt JL Hood Lock is cheaper and easier to key, but I just didn’t want the BOLT logo on the front of my Jeep.
