All 5 door handles frozen this morning. Doors were not frozen.
Rain last night turned to snow, 23° this morning. Ohio.
Tried remote start to warm up, didn't help.
Had to poor warm water on all 5 to open.
Didn't want to pull too hard on the plastic handles.
Any suggestions?
Never had this issue with the JK.

Rubbing alcohol in a small squirt bottle... melts ice in a jiffy... works wonders for frozen locks also.

I feel your pain!!!!

Woke up to this this morning.... but without the bitter cold

Sorry I don't have a solution other than maybe keeping a gallon of -25 degree rated wiper fluid around? Pour a bit on and they'd probably come free.

I mentioned this previously in a thread as to why the JL style door handles could be problematic. Other brands of vehicles I've owned like Toyota and VW seem to have the same issue and the door handles have a life of about 3-4 years before they break in the extreme cold.

I love the door handles on my JK. I'm afraid what is to come in a few years on my JLU.

Mine were the same this morning (Charleston, WV). I "bumped" them with my hand like a light hammer blow and they broke free pretty easily. I can see how a wet then hard freeze would create an issue.

As geem03 suggested earlier, I had my wife put Rubbing alcohol in a small squirt bottle in her purse this morning.
I'm also going to put a thin coat of lithium grease where the plastic handle meet the plastic on the door skin.
