Looked at 64 pages of Billet Silver Jeeps. Will I be the first here to show you my pics of a Billet Silver JLU Rubi with a Sky One Touch Top?? Patently waiting for its arrival at my dealer......and I have Rock Hard front and rear bumpers and sliders ready to get mounted. Gonna feel just like Christmas soon. :). (feeling lonely......would like to see another?).
You probably have a rare combo :)

eventually , also i like way it looks.[/QUOTE]
By all means, it’s definitely a good carrier! I just haven’t seen anyone going to the extreme of a hinged carrier without a heavy tire to support.
Added Rubi suspension, wheels and tires from forum member m3lover1! Love how she looks!

Installed Rock Slide Engineering electric steps for my vertically challenged wife and kids. Here’s my vertically challenged little man buttoning up a zip tie, gotta keep the kids involved.

Welcome

The -12 offset is the only thing that scares me about these wheels , mine are a +12 and they said just perfect outside the fender for me. Anyway you can post a few side shots and tire size so I can see you what I’d be looking at. Thanks in advance.
They stick out about a bit more than I was expecting, but I'm pretty happy with her stance now. Tires are 35's

Looks great!

I'm also jealous of your roomy & clutter-free garage :)

Thank you, and it’s a never ending battle to keep my house and shop garage neat. My shop is roomy yes, but my house is just a standard two car garage, never big enough, pic was taken before my wife pulled in so it looks bigger then it really is. She hates when I work on the Jeep and make her park in the driveway, she parks outside a lot lol.

Too much poke for my taste, but they are nice!! It seems like all the manufactures these days are making their wheels a universal fit for the JK/JL to save money. The -12 fits the JK much better with the JK’s narrower axels. The Mopar +12 is perfect for the JL in my opinion. I also notice the faux ring doesn’t rest on the tire, the Mopar literally presses down on the tire, almost acts like a sudo bead-lock. On a side note, how do you like those KM3’s on the street?

These KM3's are the best tire I have driven in a MT. They ride smoother and quieter then the stock KM2's did by a long shot. They are made with a new compound and I was pleasantly surprised how sweet the ride and handling is with them.

I ended up buying $50 worth of stainless steel bolts to replace the black bead lock bolts. 24 per wheel! Now I really like the wheels as the side walls don't appear as tall. I also added the wrangler hood decal and red "Trail rated" badge.

Have you had Duratrac's? I was wondering how they stacked up, but nobody has rated them on my tire rating thread.
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...atings-chart-whats-good-and-whats-hype.24118/
I have never had Duratrac's, although they have always been my number one option should I ever want to use AT tires . . . at least until 6 months ago when the Nitto Trail Grappler took its spot, in my personal fav's list :)

I have known several people who have owned Duratrac's and they all can never say enough good things about them. However, I have heard them on the road and I must say that the KM3's beat them for lower noise. Handling around corners, defiantly not, but I didn't buy MT for the speed aspect of the tire. Jeep life, leisure rolling down the road, lumbering along thinking of the trail you will be on with 2 hours is fun. But who am I kidding, I'm hitting 80 MPH on the regular when I'm racing to the trail-head :)

Yeah, I've had Durtac's before, and just like the people you've talked to, I absolutely love them. They're generally sold as an MT so their reported competition is the KM2/3 and similar type tires. FWIW, I think my KM2's may be a bit louder than the Duratrac were, but not by much if they are. So if the KM3 is quieter than the 2, which I've heard it is, they should be quieter than the Duratrac too.

Anyway, I digress. How about those billet silver JL's?
