Good Morning all!

I had one single trick or treater last night. One little boy dressed as a Ninja and his dad was Bon Jovi. The rain kept all of the other kids at bay.
The church down the street where my wife works moved their Trunk or Treat inside of their gym, and it was PACKED!

Zero at our house - I now have several bags of Reece Peanut Butter Cups to eat, life could be worse.

Good morning inmates...

This morning is just plain insane with all the different topics. Definitely a multiple cup of coffee morning. Today is also going to be strange in that I'm having biscuits, gravy and sausage with the vets this morning and plenty of coffee. Tonight will be different in that the invite said "Hor d'oeuvres and libations will be served..." Guess I'll have to change out of jeans and t-shirt to maybe slacks and a collared shirt. BTW - my wife bought a "car" yesterday. Pick it up next Thursday.

I’m going to take a moment to mention the absurdity of retail seasonal clothing/shoe options. FLIP FLOPS are out of ‘season’. FFS...it’s almost 90...let me have my choice of non-clearance flip flops.

Well, I was waiting for some land we own to sell before buying (which is now going on a year). After several months of whining with a sad puppy dog face (and drooling as JLs went by), my Comptroller (aka wife) has agreed if no land sale by the end of February I will put the order in (born in March so a birthday present to me).

Really looking forward to it since a Jeep has been on my bucket list since high school (and I built a model of a red CJ5). Had to go through my sports car and truck phase first.
