Not gonna lie...a little bullshit right now.

Installed the Mopar tailgate reinforcement and I cant open the tailgate all the way. Rubs against the rugged ridge taillight guards and pushes on the taillight. :swear:

Also, tailgate lines up beautifully but slams hard to shut it unless I lift on gate a little. I've readjusted the gate a few times to help but doesnt line up when closed.

Oh and my CB wire doesnt reach(fck my life:facepalm:)

For $850 and 3 hours of my time I expected more....boo(looks pretty cool though)

Does the gate open far enough to lift the glass? If you go to 37s you have to open gate an inch or so past 90 degrees to lift glass, that’s the case with mine anyway. Just a heads up.....:)

I can, yes...however once I remount my CB antenna to new location I may have to remove it(quick release) to open.

....i may just keep the antenna off until i need it, minor annoyance

Are those slide out trays
The fridge is on a slide, the other is a 6” drawer both made by American adventure labs. The shelf is fixed.

While everyone gets ready for SEMA. I’m going to sneak to Moab.
Have a build thread? Couple (sarcasm) of things I see that are interesting and want to ask about. For example, aluminum tie rod and d-link?

What are you thinking about with the aluminum? Lots of folks have gone that route due to its superior impact properties vs steel. When it hits a rock, it tends to be a little more elastic or bendy if you well vs rigid like steel. Instead of breaking, it’ll just be bent and still get you off the trail.

Different options for different wheeling styles and terrains

....and remarkably clean...spotless...immaculate front-to-rear. I couldn't say the same for mine.

What, pray tell... is your secret?

I know right? Mine left the lot dirtier than this. I couldn't get mine this clean in a week. I'm jelly.

I had the stock muffler removed and added a Flowmaster Series 40 muffler (same side in/out)just behind the resonator and a Flowmaster American Thunder axle-back exhaust. Sounds better and provides more clearance with the stock muffler gone. With the muffler out of the way it was easy to have the receiver strengthened to Class IV.

Can you post a sound clip of that setup? I did the muffler delete with just the tailpipe but my wife didn't like the sound. I'd love to hear your setup.
