Shafer trail Moab. Road trip in august from Edmonton Alberta. Hit up Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Idaho. 6000 kms total, and other than a friendly hello from a trooper in Utah, no issues.

Camped deep in Joshua Tree after a long trek on a 'closed' unmaintained road. Spent the night with the owls and the coyotes.

Oh no, my AT/MT tires are PACKED and I have an upcoming water-fording to negotiate . . . what do I do ? What if it's a muddy, hidden Sink Hole ? Bye Bye Jeep & Me ? ;) .
ps; I make fun of, but these are the "action packed" kind of photos I dig, 'cause they're showing you USE Your Jeep AS INTENDED ! Makes me jealous I'm still in a WK2 . "Jeep Porn" Pics (all sparkly clean and posing) don't seem to get me "excited" . . . as much ! :giggle:

We had a recent road trip down south. This shot is overlooking the Vermillion Cliffs in northern Arizona.

Very Nice . . . leaves so many questions unanswered . . . JEEPS, they take us to places yet to be discovered at every turn !
And yes to ad-lib the Beatles, 'the Long And Winding Road' . . . "what's that yonder corridor gonna reveal ?
I really love a GOOD photo (or Painting) that makes me "think" and "Ponder" . . . and get lost in the Artists Imaginings !

What good is having a winch if you can't find a way to get stuck?

I like the action shots myself, the four door market has softened the Jeep crowd up. Everyone seems to be more kind and gentle and want to see pics of long drives on the sand , sunsets and puppy dog smiles.

Yea I can definitely attest to that . . . ! I hate it when "everyone" is Kinder and Gentler and taking those stupid long drives on the sand just to get up close to the shoreline sunset views while cuddling with some worm infested puppy about to crap on the back seat . . . UGH . . . I'm all in with YOU Bro ! :lipssealed:
