Unfortunately my shocks which were manufactured 12/2018 did not have the updated step washers. Same with a few other folks from page 1.

Good morning,
Are you just replacing your factory shocks on a stock height rubicon? I’m looking to do just that’s. If so did it add any height, hows the ride?
Thanks sir

Looking for a ‘long term’ update. Are the stock height Fox’s a noticeable improvement at freeway speeds? Thanks for the review! Am also interested in going your route.

Thank you! Think I'm sold. My only reservation is the washer issue, which I hope Fox has sorted out by now with its retailers.

I ordered via Quadratec about 2 months ago and they came correct. What I was told is Fox did a stop ship to update to the new step washers/spacers but some dealers decide to sell what they had in stock versus return for updated product. I had to wait 4 weeks for mine from Quadratech due to this; but rather wait versus get the problem parts and have to swap them later.

Zero issues with them so far.

This was sorted... I ordered a week ago (also @Quadratec) & installed yesterday.

If the bottom shock mount looks like this you are good to go.

Great review. I’d like to change out the factory Rubi shocks as well. Has anyone tried the Fox Shocks Factory Race Series Front 2.5 Adjustable Reservoir Shock Set for 0-1.5 Inch Lift part number 883-26-049? I wonder how these compare to the 2.0’s in ride on and off road?

I'm guessing they work about like these: (although his were custom tuned by Accutune).
