I was told it was a packaging issue.95% of the Maximus-3 JL Tire Carrier is here and ready to go. Just waiting on one last critical component - currently in manufacturing.
They've been teasing this thing since March 1st and next to no updates. I've moved on.Also curious about an update. I am close to making a decision on what to buy and want to know if I should consider waiting on the Maximus-3 carrier or not
American Jeeper posted a video with it on FB. It looks nice enough but it isn't for me. I want to get something that is this capable but not mounted to the tailgate. They've been teasing this thing since March 1st and next to no updates. I've moved on.
Technically our TC is mounted to the body, not the tailgate. Virtually all the load is supported by the body tub. We only connect to the tailgate via a turn-buckle (heim-joint) for easy one-handed operation.American Jeeper posted a video with it on FB. It looks nice enough but it isn't for me. Oh no doubt, yours is definitely cool and I'm loving my M3 stinger, I'm just looking for a rear bumper with a tire carrier that won't break the bank and has all the attachment points. Def not a dig at you guys, just not what I'm looking forTechnically our TC is mounted to the body, not the tailgate. Virtually all the load is supported by the body tub. The Maximus-3 Tire Carrier is dropping soon and it's worth the wait.
Will you be able to adjust the wheel carrier in and our or up and down based on the tire size?Technically our TC is mounted to the body, not the tailgate. Yes, our Tire Carrier has many different adjustments to accommodate most wheel/tire combinations. Will you be able to adjust the wheel carrier in and our or up and down based on the tire size?
Thanks!! Any word on when it will be released?Yes, our Tire Carrier has many different adjustments to accommodate most wheel/tire combinations.
* our receiver (stanchion) slides in & out several inches
* we have one up-down adjustment - can be mounted either high or low.
