I had even less confidence. My replacement for my primary position was trained up enough, but for my collateral duty? Nobody wanted it (I don't blame them) and the SgtMaj never "voluntold" anyone by the time I was retired...

Yes, Sir. First week, most likely, although not confirmed yet - Maine (visiting Lie Nielsen Shop - may god have mercy on my wallet), followed by Exeter, NH (training) Then two weeks of sawdust at home.


But then, since money doesn't grow on a tree (only effing leaves and acorns that have covered my entire driveway and deck do), then I'll have to start a new job at a startup that is built on a platform that is a startup itself - so a very mundane, conservative, risk-free environment, you know. On the plus side - a 20 minute commute, and CEO is a friend of mine for 16 years.
