Yeah buddy, looks great on your Mojito JLUR.Love mine!!
Hi @ChuckF,Can the classic hoop be installed leaning toward grill or away from it?
All our bumper hoops are 100% bolt-on for the JL Rubicon steel bumper.Does this require drilling through the hard top?
Whoops, yes I meant the roof rack system. I was looking at both threads and posted in the wrong one. Very good looking products. I’m keeping you guys on my radar. Any chance you have a picture or instructions on how much cutting into the bumper is required for the D ring attachment? All our bumper hoops are 100% bolt-on for the JL Rubicon steel bumper.
If you are referring to our Maximus-3 roof rack system, yes that requires drilling eight holes in the hardtop.
Not too much cutting, just two little pockets and we provide reference points. Take a look at the attached install guide. Thanks!Whoops, yes I meant the roof rack system. It just comes down to personal preference. The Classic hoop is larger so it accommodates lights between the hoop. The SLP will only accommodate round lights when the hoop is orientated in the slant-back position.Nice, @Maximus-3 what advice do you give customers who are having a hard time choosing between the Classic and the SLP Hoop?? Both look good, I hope to have two round lights under the hoop one day.
None that we are aware of! Our products are designed to work with as many other aftermarket products as possible. Thanks - does the classic hoop with reinforcement brackets need any modifications to fit if I have the warn zeon 10s and the warn winch plate?
Thanks for the video, the hole near the edge toward the back of the Jeep I got out with a lot of effort and then I found this video. Will try it on the hole toward the front of the bumper... Dang U-bolts are the hardest part of the install! The install is pretty straight forward, it takes about an hour.
There is one step that some people find tricky...removing the factory u-clips. So we put together some helpful videos. >>> https://www.dropbox.com/sh/35jha08a5ok9yfk/AAAMRVcwZUEWCrCuW9xCbXlsa?dl=0
