95% of the Maximus-3 JL Tire Carrier is here and ready to go. Just waiting on one last critical component - currently in manufacturing.

I was told it was a packaging issue.

Any chance there could be a few beta test orders sent out?
I'd be happy to do a full write up with pictures of the install...

Also curious about an update. I am close to making a decision on what to buy and want to know if I should consider waiting on the Maximus-3 carrier or not

They've been teasing this thing since March 1st and next to no updates. I've moved on.

American Jeeper posted a video with it on FB. It looks nice enough but it isn't for me. I want to get something that is this capable but not mounted to the tailgate.

Hey everyone, I have run bumper and tailgate mounted carriers in the past, and the Maximus-3 carrier does it right. This holds up the tailgate but doesn’t rely on the tailgate for strength. It bolts to the frame on the inside of the Jeep.

Here is the video:

Technically our TC is mounted to the body, not the tailgate. Virtually all the load is supported by the body tub. We only connect to the tailgate via a turn-buckle (heim-joint) for easy one-handed operation.

The Maximus-3 Tire Carrier is dropping soon and it's worth the wait.

Oh no doubt, yours is definitely cool and I'm loving my M3 stinger, I'm just looking for a rear bumper with a tire carrier that won't break the bank and has all the attachment points. Def not a dig at you guys, just not what I'm looking for

Will you be able to adjust the wheel carrier in and our or up and down based on the tire size?

Yes, our Tire Carrier has many different adjustments to accommodate most wheel/tire combinations.
* our receiver (stanchion) slides in & out several inches
* we have one up-down adjustment - can be mounted either high or low.
