Emptied the UPR catch can after about 1700miles look at the amount of oil! I just put it back in the filler.

It's only been about 200 miles on mine. I'll empty it at 500.

Btw, yeah don't put that back in! I hope you were kidding...

How much is peace of mind worth?

I’ll be buying the UPR one. I’ve used their cc on a 5.0 mustang with great results.

I think BG treatments of CF5 and 44K would be an excellent option for this engine.

Think Lite Brite did an install somewhere in this forum but couldn’t find it. See below for their YouTube video on it.
Since they are so heavily sponsored and have only been Jeeping for a year it is hard to take anything they recommend seriously

for someone who joined today and doesn’t own a JL you sure do have a ton of credibility

My bad, I thought this forum was open to all Wrangler owners, but I now see it is for jl owners. As for credibility I have probably been driving Jeeps longer than you are old. Being able to afford a new jl Wrangler gives you instant credibility at the local mall I suppose

I came to this forum looking for info as I plan to trade my 4Runner for a jl but since you feel I'm not up to your standards I will leave. I'm sure you have a ton of credibility at your local mall. What a pretty Jeep you have! Must be a bitch to keep clean.

Sorry didn’t mean to get you upset but when your first post is focused on bashing someone, it just sets you up for some unwanted responses.

If you are doing research on your future JL purchase I support that. I run the UPR baffle, I get about 1-2oz of oil in the can every 1000miles. I had it on since 400miles on the Jeep and at close to 4000Miles now. Hope this helps.

You make a very valid point about bashing someone, thanks for your response.

Does the UPR block access to the oil filter, if so can one easily move it out of the way when changing the filter??

I changed the oil in the Jeep and drained the Mishomito for the 3rd time, about 2000 miles, had a couple of ounces come out.
