Hi,
do you maybe have a list of parts for your 2.5" lift kit?
I'm wondering about the high steer kit. I assume it won't work with the 2.5".
Also, on one of your first pictures in this thread I noticed factory-looking front swaybar endlinks. Aren't they too short for anything above 1" of lift?
I am asking because I've seen 3-4" lifts with SS Top mount Draglink hitting the swaybar arms or the frame on moderate articulations. How did you solve this problem, if I may ask?

Thanks!
The 2.5" Maximus-3 Geo-Lift is available now. It does not feature a high steer kit, just the standard low-mount draglink. Shortly we will be making a detailed post about all the features, components, and pricing on the 2.5" Geo-Lift.

On our 3.5" & 4.5" Geo-Lift we supply new longer rear swaybar endlinks, and the factory rears become the new front endlinks. Throughout our extensive field testing we have not experienced any draglink interference whatsoever. I attribute this to the countless hours of engineering and attention to every detail.

The Geo Lift is a well thought out, comprehensive solution.

For your 3.5, is that 3.5 up from Sport / Sahara suspension? Tryna figure the amount of actual lift for a Rubicon. Thanks

2.5" GEO LIFT

Give a warm welcome to the newest addition to our suspension line-up...the Maximus-3 JL 2.5" Geo Lift Kit.
Arguably the most comprehensive and best riding 2.5" suspension lift on the market. For those who demand perfection and refuse to cut corners this is the suspension system for you. Maximus-3 designed, manufactured, and sourced only the highest quality parts and components.

The 2.5 Geo-Lift is very similar to it's older siblings (3.5" & 4.5") but due to its mild height increase there is no need for a high steer kit.

So how is the ride quality for the 2.5 vs the 3.5? Would assume that the 2.5 would have a much better on road experience.

@Maximus-3, do you customize the valving for available Falcon shocks to your springs, or vice versa? Or are they off the shelf products? I've seen many reviews on these shocks that make them sound harsh, but perhaps not the case in this application.

Lastly, can anyone point me to a thread on this forum, YouTube, or elsewhere, a review for these Geo-lifts? Still haven't really seen a comprehensive review. Really curious how the feel over the road and really even more interested on how they wheel in extreme, rock crawling and/or full-stuff/full-droop scenarios.

Thanks!

@Puckn19 the 2.5 and 3.5 both behave remarkably well on road. Everyone who has test driven a Geo-lift found this to be one of the key qualities of our comprehensive system.

@Fire Burns They are off the shelf Falcons! We have tested them (and others) in various situations and have found the Falcon to be the best match and best overall performer with our kit by far. I have personally tested this kit and have loved every second of it, but let me point you in the direction of actual customers below.

There's a few write ups in this thread from a guy named Sven that has tested our kit all over. I also have an excellent write up review from a customer that took it to EJS that I will post below.

"The 3.5" Geolift was perfect. I ran 10 PSI , dialed the Falcons to the softest setting and disconnected sway bars. In 4-Low with the transmission in manual mode, I was literally able to simply point the JL at an obstacle and it crept over absolutely everything.

On Saturday we were one of 17 Jeeps in our group at Hotel Rock. This trail is about 90 miles northwest of Moab and as a result of the drive, not many folks have done it. Our guide has been attending EJS since the mid 80s and he drove it with his spotter for the first time on Friday in preparation for our run. The magazine claims Hotel Rock is a level 6, but Moe our guide said it is all of a 7. The description in the magazine doesn't do this trail justice (probably due to its remoteness). I highly recommend it guys. It checks a lot of boxes; water crossing, lots of rocks and pretty technical climbs and decents. On the way back down, one of the ridges was particularly challenging, but still no problem for my JL with the 3.5" Geolift. We were easily the most capable rig on the trail that day.

So, 17 Jeeps, mostly well-built JKs, but also 3 JLs, a Scrambler, several TJs and an LJ, and most of the other drivers thrashed the hell out of their Jeeps, but we were completely casual. I only needed lockers on one obstacle and it was a 27 degree 15 foot tall rock wall. I got 1/3 the way up and my tires finally slipped. I backed up and turned lockers on and bumped it and sailed right over. Other than this, my tires never chirped or spun at all. We kept it in 1st or 2nd gear and crept up or down with hill descent - it was magic man.

Ike mentioned this and I think it sums it up well: On Thursday we were driving the twisties through the Rockies in Colorado at times at 85 or 90 MPH. On Saturday (with the same Jeep) we forded a river and climbed and descended the best Moab had to offer. The Geolift is absolutely perfect for highways and on technical climbs. It was fantastic."

Any other questions, feel free to reach out.

Cheers,
Hayden

Thanks for your input!! Reason I ask is that I am debating between the 2.5 or the 3.5. Mine will still be a daily driver and I need it to keep most of the stock on road handling if possible. If there isn't any on road differences between the 2.5 or 3.5 I would go with the 3.5.

@Maximus-3 I’ve been scouring the web trying to find a review or at least some photos of your 2.5 lift installed. Can you point me in the right direction?
Valid point. I am currently reaching out to our friends with the 2.5" JL Geo Lift's . I will post pictures as soon as possible.
For now just imagine our 3.5" lift...but just one inch shorter.
I will find pics.

The top mount drag link has clearance issues on my rig, it hits the frame on the pass side. It also hit the sway bar when my adjustable links were set to Maximus-3 SPEC. Lengthened the links another 1" plus. There is paint missing from the frame/drag link and hard contact feeling when it happens. Pending a solution from Maximus-3.

I have the 3.5" full kit with SP2 Falcons. When its not hitting, works very well.

Steer smarts website says

***NOTE*** A minimum lift height of 4.5" ( and correct bump stop) is required for a top-mount draglink. Part #79022001 (Track Bar Relocation Bracket) is necessary when flipping your draglink - it maintains proper track bar and draglink geometry.

Does the 2.5in kit require drilling like the 3.5 does?

Does anyone have a link to the installation documents for this kit? I am considering installing it myself and would like to get as much information as possible.
Thanks

Will the 2.5" work with the diesel Rubicon?
Our Maximus-3 JL Geo-Lift Kits will work on the diesels. The only thing we have ran into is that Falcon 3.3 series (and up) piggy-back shocks do not work, because of the vehicles battery tray. Otherwise good to go.

That's not cool at all. I can only hope the injuries and property damage this behavior WILL cause is limited to themselves.

Illegal and completely reckless behavior should not be used to promote your products. I know my opinion isn't worth much, but I'm pretty disappointed this would even be mentioned as a promotion of your suspension system.
