I just brought home a 2019 Wrangler Unlimited and the noise on the drivers side was surprisingly loud. It was a 100 mile drive home and I kept checking to make sure the window was up. It wasn't just a little noisy, it was whistling. This is my 4th wrangler (first JL) so I know they can be noisy but this was not the typical noisy Jeep. From all the reviews on how much quieter the JL is, I expected it to be much quieter. It's louder than my 2014 JK.

I did a search and it sounds pretty common but I didn't see where anyone got it fixed.

It seems to be coming from the bottom pillar or the front bottom corner of the window in the door. That corner area. Any ideas?

Not a guarantee, but a good while back I remember reading of someone else having a similar noise that was fixed by loosening the windshield bolts, lightly pressing the panel in, and retightening. Was simply a weatherstripping that wasn't compressed enough and was whistling at speed. Again, no promises, just came to mind after reading your post.

A quicker and more simple check would be to make sure the bolts at the top of the windshield are snug. Flip down the visors and they have a soft velvet cap.

Hey Jeep Carrā€™s.....HaHaHaHa. Champion Jeep in Lansing is THE WORST place to take anything in for any kind of work. Phillip the service manager complained to us today that the ā€œfixā€ costs Chrysler 700+ dollars.....and it did nothing.....if anything itā€™s worse now. I could care less how much it costs to fix my JLUR that stickered at 55,000+ and havenā€™t had for a month yet. I can not wait until the service survey comes to me in the mail. Unless they come to my house and fix it I will never go back. I might go somewhere else and give another dealer a try, but I better calm down first.
