I put 18k miles so far, no issues at all. I'm thinking I go to dealership and tell the tech that I have no issues and let them tell me before they replace anything. But not going until end of this month.

Got it installed today and could immediately notice the difference. It does feel more sturdy and steering is not as "loose." I haven't taken it on the highway yet but hopefully it did fix the death wobble experienced at 70 mph+

Then you get people that don’t understand legit death wobble, or bump steer, or just plan out difference in having to hold the steering wheel on a slightly windy day on the highway but cry “loose” steering

Mine was installed correctly. Dealer also got the right amount of oil. Way to go Larry Miller of Tucson. They seem pretty good, just don't ask them to get a 5 tire rotation right. 0 for 2 - but I can fix that easily.
No difference in steering feel with the new steering stabilizer. Might be a little bit less shudder going over bumps.

I don't know any better but is this for the death wobble too? Anyway I had the steering damper done this past weekend and got on the highway today (not a highway daily driver at all) and to backtrack when I first purchased the Jeep at around 70mph there was a noticeable shudder - however I am excited to say today was doing about 80-90 and never even realized how fast I was going because it was so freaking buttery smooth!! And the wondering well it feels more centered if that makes sense no more boat side to side wondering if its me or my driving skills

I think it's more of "a" solution to the wobble wobble, but it's being touted by FCA as the solution.

Reading all these pages....I'm on the fence, Jeep drives fine, dealership has bad rep on reviews on line / however - I heard they had a big shake-up from the owner so maybe they are ok? Or should I just spend $150 and get a Fox stabilizer?

completely understand however everyone wants to put numerous issue into one pool of problems, my point is reading one thing online, and then actually pin pointing an issue are two diff things. but once there's so many un educated "points" thrown out there people just want to come into dealers and point fingers into what their issue is or print out bulletins for completely unrelated issues, sometimes the exact issue. I guess my point is yes numerous ones do carry duplicate issues however not EVERY SINGLE one out there will react the same. people need to just calm down and breath. yes I understand blowing 40-60k your vehicle shouldn't do this however FCA/wrangler isn't the only expensive vehicle out there with numerous issues and massive recalls that they don't have enough update parts out for. but then again I can understand if you don't live locally around a trusted dealer that is actually there to pin point an issue and help to the best of their abilities, and have to deal with a bunch of oil change kids that could care less and just hang parts and hope for the best even when they aren't installed properly.

I took my 2018 JLU in for a rattling speaker and horrible gas mileage. They said I had a recall on the stabilizer and so they replaced it. I have to admit the car drives on the freeway at higher speeds with a tighter feel. Speakers overhead are fine the plastic cover is what was rattling and they had to replace the foam underneath because the ones that it comes with is not sufficient. I also turn down the bass in my controls and that solved the problem. As far as the gas goes I don’t know what to make of it. I’m getting less than 12 miles a gallon driving around town. My Ford truck with a six cylinder ecoboost Engine average is about 18 miles to the gallon around town. So I know it’s not me. I have the V-6 gas engine, any ideas out there on better gas mileage? Is anyone experienced the same thing I am experiencing with gas usage? When I ask other people at the jeep dealership about anything like when you set your media on for your phone hook up. When I stop and then restart the car it reverts back to the radio. It’s annoying! The service manager at jeep says well it’s a jeep! Is that the answer for anything that is a question about a performance other than the 4 Wheel capability .
Get you some pillow poly Fill from Walmart and remove speakers from bar and stuff it full with poly fill and your rattling will be over!

Yea I am too, called today and told them that I haven't had any problems and they said they were going to order mine. Think I should just buy a fox stabilizer after reading all this.

Just curious, why Is the STOCK damper for the wrangler installed in reverse of all other non-Mopar steering dampers?

Still don't know why some got reimbursed for fox but not rc stabilizers. Sounds like a possible law suit to me. Still haven't heard back from my claim.
