Ok guys, I want to surprise my husband with some new tires for his 17 JKU Sport S. His came with the all season ones, and I really like the look of an A/T myself. Earlier this year, I bought him new wheels from Quadratec (Hard Rock), so now looking to get him a nice set of shoes. But, I'd like to not break my bank. So I'm thinking around $150-$175 a tire? Any suggestions? Pics?

Thanks:like:

Highest rated tire in its price range.
Also three-peak-mountain-snowflake rated.

Thanks! Yeah just looking for some ideas. He is getting his Right hip replaced on July 2, so he won't be able to drive for a while. So I wanted to get him some around September. I think he will be surprised:like:

I don't have experience with them personally, but at that price range I've heard nothing but good things about the Falken A/Ts.

Assuming your husband has stock size on the JKU(255/75/17), you can get also get Duratracs for about $200 a tire if you want to splurge a bit extra. I've found them to be great in all conditions especially snow/slush which might be very useful in Ohio. They wear great too, when I sold my JKU they had 15-20k miles left in them after being driven for 47k miles. They're also very light for their size. Only drawback is they have a weaker sidewall, but that's kind of irrelevant if you're not driving on rocks.

Thanks! I'll check in on these. We still have the original stock tires, but they have 44k miles on them and they actually look pretty good. I hate throwing money away, so I'm waiting for these to wear some more lol. Just doing my research and taking notes. Thanks again:like:

Did you decide on the wildpeaks?
Sorry, I didn't see this till today:( My husband is looking still lol. But he is liking the more aggressive looking tires:like: I want to wear my original tires some more, so I'm thinking probably November I'll change them out.
