Today was a big day! Installed my now painted Motobilt Crusher front bumper, Warn Zeon 10 winch, Warn hawse fairlead, Master Pull Superline synthetic winch line, Factor55 Flatlink, Warn power disconnect (triggered off Aux switch 4).

Had to make a bracket for the winch power disconnect:

And for good measure, I installed my Gibson Leatherworks saddle bag (thanks @Blkjak !):

Got the Brawlee Jeep Wrangler LED Rear Glass Lift Gate Dome Light Bar installed. Drilled a little hole to hide the wire and it came out great. It's currently connected by cigarette adapter. Will that drain the battery if I keep it plugged in, or do I have to unplug it every time? I'm going to hard wire it when I have more time.

You can switch the fuse position so it powers on with ignition.

12 volt or USB Always on?

Installed some rancho 900XL shocks today thinking I would finally be relieved of the stiff falcon shocks....

I was wrong.

The rancho's feel great and ride wonderfully, however I quickly found out that on the road they handle mostly the same. I feel like if I had to put a number on it, the rancho shocks at their softest setting get maybe 10% softer than the falcon SP2's. I also used a really crappy "bump monitor" app that seems like it was made for people in Japan to record bad sections of roads and crowdshare to others and it kind of confirmed how I felt. Theres slight differences but not huge all around.

Kind of a cool app, sucks they didnt help any though. I dunno if you will fully be ever be able to get it fully gone. Maybe some really soft coilovers or some bypass shocks. You just trying to get the ride stock or softer than that?

When did the red dash go in?
All 2020 Rubicons have red according to the dealer. I think I would have picked the grey panels if given a choice, but I will see if these grow on me. If not I will paint them.

It helped me realize that I'm chasing a ghost based on other people's opinions on shocks and especially the falcons. Now that I've ridden om the ranchos, I'm confident most of the stiffness is actually tire related and nothing to do with the shocks. Or, perhaps at least 10% of a difference . I'm good with what I have and I'm content with the ride!

That would make sense, im on E rated as well, noticing it getting stiffer as my tread wears too

I hear you. I'm tempted to grab load C 38" Pat's next time. The Cooper's have some pretty stiff sidewall.

25psi cold
That they do, 15 psi barely makes the side wall flex offroad haha. That would probably ride pretty well being C

Nice. Tired of waiting on Teraflex. May have to snag one of those. Install straight forward?
