Yes, we get the 2.0 turbo GME....so no eTorque. Thanks! What petrol engine does the UK get? 2.0 turbo?
Do you know if the primary recommendation is 0w 20 or 5w20? By previously, do you mean the JK's 3.6? There are folks on another forum claiming it is ok to run 5w30 in the JL's 3.6 because they think FCA recommends it in other countries. I believe the JK's gen 1 3.6 saw 5w30 recommended in some places, but I have not seen any evidence that the new gen 2 in the JL, otherwise know as the Pentastar Upgrade, has ever had 5w30 recommended. It is largely a new design and I've read that FCA said it was designed from the start with 0w20 in mind. I'm just checking to see if that holds true.I asked the same question a while back here and on a AU/NZ forum and the answer was they all now specify xW-20 (previously xW-30).
It was 5W-20, but 0W-20 would be fine, it simply has more synthetic (aka a blend) or is "full" synthetic. Previous meant JK, I can find no country specifying anything but xW-20 for the JL.Do you know if the primary recommendation is 0w 20 or 5w20? By previously, do you mean the JK's 3.6? Ok, thanks. I'm sure you could use xw30 in it, but it is looking like their claim that the gen 2 3.6 Pentastar is recommended to run xw30 in other countries is not true, unless someone else comes forward with new info.It was 5W-20, but 0W-20 would be fine, it simply has more synthetic (aka a blend) or is "full" synthetic. Does that mean that you cannot use xW-30, IMHO no, I would have no issues doing that or even xW-40--especially in high heat situations.
