Saw this on another jeep site
What the...

Never seen this before.

Is that a mustang-look front end: bumper and hood???

Reminds me of the Wagoneer front. Cant figure out if i like it or not. Maybe both? :)
Yeah, same here. I got a foot in each camp... I guess it's time for a coin toss.

It was heads... It grew on me as being unique. (The date on the coin was 1985 and sits in a special place on my mantel)

Painted the side engine vents. Krylon “Gloss Cherry Red” is almost a perfect match for the red outline on Jeep badge and rubicon lettering. They pry out easily with a plastic trim removal tool but separating the perimeter from the grille is impossible without breaking the tabs, seems they melted the tabs flat after putting the pieces together. Had to gorilla glue the two pieces back together after painting. Turned out great.

Installed Rockhard 4x4 rear LCA skids. Torquing the bolts was freaking hard.

I gave up on installing the fronts. For the life of me, I couldn’t loosen the bolts even with an impact gun. I will just wait until I eventually get a lift.
I had similar difficulty with one of the stabilizer bolts and the rear shock bolts. Some pounding on a breaker bar with a mallet finally got 'em loose.

I have a set of these skids coming, so I guess I'll have to drink milk & eat some Wheaties. Yay.

Installed Synergy 2" lift kit and Artec spare delete. Love both. Ride is great with my falcon 2.1's and the spare delete is the best looking IMHO.

Gave it a good wash, my first ever clay bar (Mother’s), and a wax (McGuire’s ultimate paste) the other day. And today I got to see how well it’s beading up and I’m very impressed!

I've never worked with a clay bar but am intrigued. How long did it take to clay bar it?

Whole process from wash, dry, clay and wax took about 2.5 hours. I did my wife’s suv first the other day and the Jeep once I felt I knew what I was doing, Jeep was slightly faster. Definitely noticed a difference on the surface after claying!
