My wife and daughters (well, the 6y/o, the 1y/o doesn't care) are more excited about this purchase than any other vehicle I've ever bought, for whatever that means.

I will say that one minor point in the Jeep's favor when vehicle shopping was that it is hard to buy a $45k vehicle that doesn't make it look like you're trying too hard. I looked at stuff like an Audi A4 and a BMW 3-series and both felt like I was yelling at the world, "look at me! I'm successful (enough to have a $500/mo car payment)!!"
