Did you have to replace the 3rd tail light?

The 3rd brake light is adjustable. Back out the screws, alight the bottom holes on the support with the previously top holes and it will raise the brake light.

The first picture there is no lift. Straight MOAB on Rubicon suspension.

The bottom one there is a total of 1” on the front and 1/2 inch in the back. Just a poor mans lift that was accomplished with @TeraFlex spacers that cost about $50 total. I’m doing the 2” Dynatrac lift tomorrow that I purchased through @Quadratec (love those dudes, especially Kevin).

Sorry @Pjackct didn’t get a chance to snap a good one before I had to travel for work.

Here’s one I snapped quick with no front sway bar. Me installing my lift was amateur hour, I stripped one end link and left the sway bar disconnected until earlier today.

I’ll get you some good pictures and measurements later this week.

How is the ride? I’m having the Mopar 2.0 lift with Fox shocks and BF Goodrich KM3 315/70/17s installed on the stock Moab wheels this Tuesday. A bit worried about ride quality etc.

Hello!! If I am breaking any kind of forum rules for asking a question to your question, I am so sorry!! I’m a 50 year old who is very “forum/message board” dumb! I bought my first Jeep today and like you, I’m looking to purchase “beefier” looking wheels and tires. There was a used vehicle on the lot today and I was asking about buying the aftermarket wheels and tires. The GM told me that I need to stick with stock wheels because after market ones aren’t covered by Jeep if the after market purchase causes any damage. I am confused on what is considered stock. And same as you, I doubt I will do too much off roading but don’t want my Jeep to look “whimpy”. Not sure if this even makes sense. If I posted in the wrong place, please forgive me and direct me to the right place to ask. Thanks!!! Jill

Find a different dealer. There is a law that if something breaks on your vehicle your mods can't limit your warranty unless they directly affected it.

If that dealers going to tell you not to change wheels or void warranty they're going to be a nightmare to deal with for any warranty work. They know full well the law but are trying to play you into assuming you wouldn't take action.

Wondering if there will be spare tire rubbing issues on a stock JLU Sahara when running BF Goodrich KO2’s in 275 70 18? Any information would be greatly appreciated. (Stock rims and bumper)

I am curious to know why such weight difference between theses 2 BFG KM3 35'' tires :

- LT 315/70R17 : 65.8 lbs
- LT 35X12.50R17 : 74.4 lbs

And what would be the reason to choose one over the other ?

Likely 65.8 is D rated (8 ply) and 74.4 is E rated (10 ply)

Surprised nobody mentioned the MTR w/ Kevlar, got a decade and 55k miles out of them and zero dry rot or cracking when replaced. The tread blocks were still pretty supple after ten years and they gave great on road manners the whole wear and great performance in everything except soft sand. I feel like you’re lucky if your BFG’s make it 10 months without dry rot, haven’t run them since the KO’s and made the mistake of trying some BFG UHP A/S tires for my car only to fight with Michelin over replacement.
Anybody try the General X3? I’ve heard good things about them from overland bound and many magazines but never actually spoke to someone running them. They’re supposedly great on ice for an MT.

Very well put together. I haven't been able to find this information, or I over looked it. What is the biggest tire you can put under without any modifications. I have a JLU Sahara, looking to put on some 33" sneakers. Plus for some reason, most of the general information seems to be more Rubicon over the other models. I am sure the Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon owners would like to know.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but will I run into any issues running 35x12.5 on my stock rubicon wheels? Also is the tailgate reinforcement and oversized tire carrier required for this setup? I’ll probably go with nitto trail grapplers like I had on my 2012.
