wow, that's amazing! I really wanted that bumper, but like you did not want a bolt on bull bar / guard.

on the rugged ridge site it had both, one with the guard, and one without. I wonder what happened with the one with the built in bar?

I hope they make it right for you.
I hope they do. I remember when the box came and thinking "how the hell does that bumper fit in that box".

was just on the rugged ridge site again. looks like the Arcus bumper guard/ tube setup is what they ended up doing on the HD as well. what a load of crap. it still looks as if one welded piece on the website for the actual bumper, but they show the striker as a seperate product now. looking at the Arcus, it looks like it would be pretty weak. what a shame. guess it's back to the Poison Spyder Bruiser. about the same price when you figure rugged ridge striker and bumper are seperate costs. I have no doubt Poison Spyder is much better quality as well.

Glad I didn't wait for the Rugged Ridge bumper and went Motobilt instead. That's a load. I love when companies showcase rad products we want and never build them

So Northridge was awesome. They offered me a refund and a call tag for the bumper or they said they had spoke with Rugged Ridge and they had the bull bar in stock and if I wanted it they would ship it free of charge. After thinking about it I told them to ship it. The reason I had to think about it was I liked the clean lines and didn't like all the bolts it took to mount it. I had seen them for their other bumpers. Well I just received it and am super happy because it bolts up from the back side of the bumper so no bolts show. I'm installing it this weekend and will post install photos.

So here it is. It's two pieces and I posted the 4 little screws that hold the bull bar in place. The bull bar looks good in my opinion but it's worthless as far as being strong enough to tie up to. The welds look like they were done by brail. Quality sucks. I bought it on sale at Northridge for $320 and remembered that it was just the bumper, no bull bar included like in photos. Long story short I ended up paying $320 for it just like you see it. For the price it's fine but it's no Poison Spider quality by a Longshot.

it's a shame that the bull bar is not welded on. that bumper has great lines and seems to fit the front end perfectly. still one of my favorite looking bumpers out there, but shame the bar is held on by small bolts. I'm looking into the Poison Spyder Bruiser bumper now instead.
