Roof off, doors on, a ten dollar bill blew right out of my hand as I was approaching toll booth! I was apoplectic!
That's about the cost of a baseball cap. You just cut out the middleman. :)

I wear a cap on my drive home daily with top down and tube doors. Have not lost one yet. Although, I am constantly adjusting it to keep it on and block the sun. Have almost lost my lunch box, can't leave it on the passenger seat now that I have the tube doors.

I have my doors off and haven’t had any close calls wearing a baseball hat (can’t lose my Giants hats!), but I put my ponytail through the opening in the back and wear it snuggly. My OR hat stays on with no troubles, too.

Do you ride with the doors off? With just the top off it’s rarely an issue.
Yeah, that's a good point too. In my JL I've always had the doors on. Riding in my brother's JK he's had the doors off, but then again the windshield and aerodynamics of the JK is a bit different than the JL. Hard to tell if it's how I wear it, or if it's the configuration of the Jeeps I'm in.

I take my hat off and place it over the shifter....hasn't blown out yet :)

I do this, too, but that won't prevent my huge noggin from getting sunburned.

Once i feel the cap starting to fight for flight, I quickly grab the bill and stow the cap.
However, I had one blow off and I snatched it 'in-flight' like Mister Miyagi in the Karate Kid.

I loose a baseball cap about once every other year.

Had my hat fly off with the freedom panels down on the highway... not a fun stop... crossed 2 lanes of traffic, i really liked that hat... i over tighten them now or just put em on the seat headrest
(Disclaimer; never chase a hat onto the highway, don't be an idiot)

I weae a cap every day. Top off but do have a full length alien sunshade and doors are on. That definitely makes the difference. Even before the sunshade though I never had an issue with my hat. I'm 6'1" so maybe taller drivers have more of an issues?

Haven't lost one, but came real close when getting the extra rush of air while passing a semi on the highway. I was able to catch it as it was flying off, no idea how.
