Camping three nights at Crane Flat (Didn't win the lottery on valley campsites.) We're not sure about hikes yet, Maybe Vernal Falls, but I did that one last time. My daughter wants to hike to the top of El Capitan but I'm not fit enough for that one. I might go as far as Yosemite Falls with her. We like to just kind of wing it, rather than have some rigid plan. A lot of it depends on where (IF) we can find parking, too. We'll probably do the valley one day and the high country on another.
Never camped in CF... definitely report back as that could be an alt for our next visit. Yosemite Falls is a great hike. Park gets more crowded every year, best bet is to find parking in one of the day lots and shuttle around (though those can get crowded too). But no matter enjoy your trip and consider yourself well envied :bandit:

I lost a fog light once to a tied up pup.

Big dog troubles....
Ouchies! How in the world did they... fog light... can't imagine... oh nevermind... Next time I'm thinking of securing them to the winch line... that way we can reel them in when it's time to go (hounds x 2 vs 10k winch???) :giggle:

You Americans, with your Amazon points....
Yeah, it's all good and happy... until I do mental math and figure out just how many thousands of dollars I spent to be able to afford $700 in points.

Well...I just heard from the Jeep Dealership...Roxy has a new front track bar. They also adjusted the toe in. They did suggest that I have a alignment done on her. When I asked if it was normal to do an alignment at 23k miles. The guy said that after 15-19k miles, the SUV type vehicles "shakes things loose". I opted not to get the alignment.
If they changed out the track bar, and f@cked with toe-in, is it not on them to align under warranty? WTF?

Dude said they only adjust the toe in under the TSB. An alignment isn't included. It sounded like it was more of a general concern and not a requirement at this time.

I'd give them a piece of my fukn mind on that one...

General concern after FCA delivered an unsafe product? Loose steering, bad welds, death wobble? GFY dealer boy! Finish the job proper or I'll lawyer up!

Careful Billy...you may not want to give that up...you might need it. :bandit:

I don't disagree overall. I am not real happy to find out that a new vehicle with 23k miles on it has a suggestion of an alignment. That is BULL CRAP!!! I will see how it drives when I get it and go from there. I think it was an up-sale type of thing. My thought on it was if it was critical for the repair, it would have been covered in the TSB. I am going to research and find out just when an alignment really should be done on my Jeep.

Random JT appreciation post! :involve:
Just cuz I feel like it’s been too long since he’s joined us here.
Fine. If you're doing that, then I counter with this...
