Thanks. Like most countries, we have some heroes, some losers, and a lot of folks between the extremes. Overall, I'm happy to be living within Canada's borders.

I'm certainly not lifting the Mini! A big part of it's charm is how stable it is when you throw it into a corner aggressively.
Just like my A4, though my rebel has upgraded endlinks and read sway bar and sometimes I toss it around

Is the TDI still for sale in the US? I didn't even consider a Golf because I want my boring cars to last at least 200,000 miles and near as I can tell the Germans haven't figured out electricity yet. Partly for that desire to have the car be long lasting, but mainly because it's a Prius, I haven't done any mods to it and it is extremely unlikely that I will do anything to it. I tinted the windows so at least I don't have to be seen in it, added a "fueled by recycled dinosaurs" sticker to it because I think it's funny and that's it. I was working on a rifle rack for the back window of it, to keep the rifles out of the way when I go hunting (and also because I think it's funny), but it got to the point that I was going to need stronger struts on the back window to lift it all up. I also wasn't happy with the angle it was holding the guns at in the event of a crash, and with the window tint you couldn't even see them so that pretty much ruins the whole point of displaying an AR-15 in your Prius... I ended up just giving up on it. I might add a roof rack to it before this season just so the deer isn't directly on the paint, but I really hate the wind noise most roof racks seem to make and I don't want to drill into my roof.
Definitely not the run of the mill boring ones.

How about drop in filters and higher flow cats for extra pep, or sway bars as well?

Back to the original question, Jeep was running a promotion in my area, where you could log onto a website, get a pin #, then go to a Jeep dealer, take a test drive, then the dealer would enter your PIN, and you would get a $50 Amazon gift card sent to you at the end of the event.

I told several people about the event, but I did not manage to convince anybody to get a Jeep.

My friends have had a running joke about putting a cherry bomb on the exhaust for me. How would that work? Dead silent at the a stop and when you take off, then the gas engine starts up and it's all "BLAAAAAHHHH!!!" until it shuts down again. The gas engine is constantly turning on and off in that thing (so much so the ESS in the JL doesn't bother me in the slightest) any kind of exhaust work to make it louder would be super annoying I think. One thing the Prius does is when the gas engine is cold it flips a valve in the exhaust that routes the hot exhaust gas through a heat exchanger in an attempt to capture some of that heat to warm up the engine more quickly. Yes that's right, not only does the Prius have an active exhaust like the most extreme performance cars out there, it also has a radiator in the muffler (or somewhere, I'm not sure where). With the stock exhaust I can hear it change, I wonder how much more pronounced that would be with a cat back in place.
Well, it'd certainly add...

I love those, it's always Toyota for me and I always drive a manual taco all by myself since the saleswoman can't drive stick.

Everyone else never sends me the gift card, but I can always rely on Toyota.

Shame I don't need a little truck and that the Gladiators out too, I like those little tacos as well

I'd drive anything for a gift card. lol I even took out a Mazda 6 once. The salesman reacted pretty strongly when I told him I thought a Sonata was quieter under WOT acceleration. lol

I drive a boring car
Also see a Jeep, so whats the car?

Last time I drove anything close to a Mazda6 was when I worked for my sister's ex's Dad's car lot.

Website had sexy cars like Ferrari's and Challengers and shit.... all at his house. The Lot? MAYBE a Manual S197 GT or a 280zx, otherwise it was all cars for people with bad credit. They weren't bad, just I could take a whole thing of Viagra and it wouldn't work looking at what was available.

Of course, then again, boring cars can be turned into sleepers:

You will be surprised what a blessing a minivan is for a family with little kids. Sliding doors with all the space - you can't beat it. And Odyssey is one of the best and comfortable minivans. Trust me, he did the smartest choice. And it comes from someone who switched his pre-kids BMW M3 for after-kids Toyota Sienna and never regretted it.
Yes, we've owned two minivans while raising our 3 kids. His wife definitely wanted the minivan though he'd preferred an SUV. It just tore him up spending that much on a minivan and I can't blame him. I'm only driving my Wrangler after getting all 3 kids out on their own.
