First time Jeep owner. In fact, first time North American car owner. Just reading these threads and am getting paranoid. Particularly with the ESS and battery issues.

I've had my 2019 JLU for almost three weeks now and put around 1000 kms (600 miles) on it. So far (knock on wood) no issues other than water from the gutter dripping into the cabin when I opened the door in the rain.

So how many of you have had zero issues with your JL?

I've not had any "issues" aside from your typical creaks and rattles or odd noise after shifting. Nothing I'd run to the dealer for. I've never owned a flawless vehicle though. No such thing exists and I've had toyotas, acuras, all the domestics and Germans even both Korean brands. They all have "something".

Mine has been great. I didn't have Off Road Pages at first but jeepcares got me fixed up without a trip to the dealership. Sky One Touch isn't leaking or rattling. Steering is nice and tight (enough for me anyway). 8.4 screen and dash went berserk once for a few minutes but hasn't happened again. The mud terrains are a little noisy on the highway but will work until they need to be replaced. I'm very pleased with mine so far.

Close to 20k miles on mine and I have had no major issues. She was built in January 2018, so very early on in the production timeline, I had a few recalls and TSBs taken care of those first few months. I use the ESS in my daily drive and have had no problems with it, especially since I've learned how to keep it from autostopping at stop signs when I don't need it to. The steering does wander just a little bit in the lane, but its not bad enough to complain about (it gets worse if the tires are overinflated). Overall I'm very satisfied with my Jeep! :like:

Define "flawless"

After 9 months and about 9k miles, only minor issues have been a wayward GPS (dealer recalibrated) and a noisy passenger seat (still waiting for resolution). Love the Wrangler (my first) and can't see driving anything else as my daily. The 2.0T has been great with combined mileage of 20-ish with ESS in active mode most of the time. I don't know if you would consider the money black hole a flaw (my wife might have some words to say about that ;)) but I think I've stopped hemorrhaging funds quite so much. But other than the couple of niggles above she's been flawless in every respect.

No issues here.
Like offset_98 said though, I've never owned completely flawless vehicle, and I've had a lot of car/trucks over the years (domestic and import).
That said the only thing I had to take my JL to the dealership for was an ESS and AutoPark issue, which ended up being a sensor in the door latch. Easy fix, and something that technically wouldn't caused any problems if I didn't have it done so I don't consider it an "issue".
I've had my JL for just over a year (made in May, and delivered July 5th), and have had no problems with it. I think we read these forums and see all the posts about issues, but forget how many people are problem free because there aren't a bunch of threads saying "my Jeep has no problems". There's a few like this, and I've seen others that are being humors, but it's not a common topic. We get inundated with the issues, and end up overlooking how many happy owners there are. Such is the world today. Social media, news, etc flood the world with bad, and everyone forgets just how rare all that is by comparison. The JL is no less quality than anything else I've owned.

My only issue is that I do not have enough money to do all the mods that I want.

I have a JL 2 Door 2.0 Turbo. Mine was built in April 2018, and I purchased it in October 2018. I now have almost 12,000 miles on it. After a few thousand miles, I began hearing a clicking noise which ended up being a normal noise relating to the differential, but a cover that muffled the noise had just fallen off. The service department replaced the grommet, and I haven't heard the noise since. Other than that, I haven't had any issues... and I have some done more simple modifications (bumpers, side steps, fenders) which fortunately haven't caused any problems either.

I, too, have gone through times where reading stuff on here has made me worry about my Jeep... but you have to remember that this is where people go specifically to discuss their problems! There are a lot of happy Jeep owners that don't have issues, or very minor ones, and as long as you are aware/paying attention to your Jeep and getting/performing the regular maintenance, you should be fine! Now I'm definitely not saying there aren't Jeepers who are encountering real issues and concerns... but just try not to worry too much because every vehicle has different snags, and there's no way to know what's going to come up down the road with yours specifically - luckily it's a new vehicle with a warranty!

Now THAT is a real problem. I've got the same issue with JL. :headbang:
