Not a dumb question. When I spoke with them and did research it was hyped up to be this huge improvement over stock for what I use my Jeep for. But my experience is that it’s no better on or off road than the stock rubicon. And I didn’t get the full 2” that was advertised. For $1200 I expected more. I would go a different route if I had to do it over. Thanks for this. I see those are also the Fox shocks... from what I understand those are one of the best.
Can you please explain why you wouldn’t? Because if it rides like stock, given the higher ride heights, isn’t that a good thing? I’m contemplating which kit to get... apologies if dumb questions.
Nice! First Bikini JL I’ve seen in the “wild”. Looks much better than I originally thought![ATTACH=full said:199188[/ATTACH]
Where did you go? Cool picLoaded her down and headed for the beach.
I swapped out my lift for the Dynatrac lift. Way smoother ride now.Why you switched shocks?
I’m still catching up and reading... long thread!
Another guy pm’d me and said he was super happy with his Enduro setup also.
Question for you others: would it be ok if I purchased this lift kit first/separately from the tires? Meaning - could I run my stock Sahara wheels and tires with this lift kit??? The lift kit alone will set me back a few $$$ so I’m trying to pace myself. If I did the wheels and tires at the same time, my wife would never approve lol.
So you traded in your 18 or 19 Sport for a 2.0T Rubicon????
Thanks for the insight. I wonder if your case is isolated? I wonder why for you/some Rubicons, the full height is not achieved? Hmmmm. Not a dumb question. I love that ARB bumper. One of the few non-OEM that I’ve seen that I like. What’s the material of it? I love my stock fog lights though, but judging from your pic, it’s a close match to the stock LED’s?I just got my girl back from Mule Expedition Outfitters here in Seattle area...
-35” BFG KO2 Tires on AEV Pintlers rims
-ARB Classic Deluxe Bumper
-9.5k lb RSI ComeUp winch
-Factor 55 Flatlink
-ARB AR21 Intensity lights
-ARB (one of the first in the country) new full rockrails
-Teraflex trackbar and adjustable steering dampener
I love this damn Jeep! Now to go tear up some mountains!
Good luck with the sale, and thanks for the explanation. If I could do it all over again, it too would be a Rubicon from the get go.We are selling the Sport out right, but pretty much yes. I love her! Our sport did really well but the Rubicon was always the end goal.
2 surfboards and 87 bikes!Loaded her down and headed for the beach.
Inlet Beach, near Panama City, Florida.Where did you go? Cool pic
I like it better removed.. starts looking too busy for me. Took mine offHappy 4th! Got up early to show my patriotism
(I might still remove the wrangler unlimited oem sticker... contemplating. What y’all think??? Remove or not?)
