Looking at 35" tire options for my JL. I rarely/never go off road so looking for something that looks somewhat agressive but is good for daily driving- noise and smoothness being of importance.

Ive narrowed down to:
Falken Wildpeak AT3W, $1200 ish
35X12.50R18LT 128Q F/12 ROWL MILESTAR PATAGONIA M/T or Milestar Patagonia M/T 35/12.50R18 128Q (not sure what the difference is here) - $900ish
Nitto Ridge Grappler, LT35/12.50R-17, 217020 - $1400 ish

Ive read good reviews on all of them. Obviously the lower price is more appealing.

Thoughts?

The difference between the two Milestar tires is the first has white lettering - ROWL means raises outline white letters. The second set is black.

Jeeps lots of jeeps
The tires you have listed are all load E and load F rated. They will be very firm and less smooth of a ride than a Passenger or C/D rated tire.

That being said many people still run them.

Your vehicle info indicates Sahara and one of your tire selections is an 18" tire yet the other 2 are 17" tires. Are you also planning on changing wheels (and wheel/tire size)? I'll echo what Carlton said about the higher load ranges typically yielding harsher rides. For what you described as your use case I think you'd probably be much happier looking for a C or D rated tire.

Did you go with the M/T or A/T? How is the noise/comfort of driving?

M/Ts - as long as you don't overinflate them both the road noise and the comfort are pretty good.
I have these as well, 315/70 R17. They are D rated. I have them at 30psi and they ride great on and off road. That being said, I have read a lot of good things about the Nittos as well. I personally wanted to stay with a C or D rated tire for ride quality.
Good luck.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
My 295/70/17 Patagonias are E-rated, at 30 psi the ride quality w/ our 2 dr JL is fine. With stiffer springs you might notice it more but w/ stock suspension IMO the ride is calm, and noise increase is minimal for the more aggressive tread block.

The Nitto Ridge Grapplers I ran on my TJ were by far the best tires I've ever run. Quiet and sticky. Never slipped on the trail or in the rain on the road.

Patagonias tend to be undersized. They're cheap tires. Lots of cool kids running them. I would only consider them if I was running one of their larger sizes. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother with them.

With your experience do you think you would go for the Ridge Grapplers or the Trail Grapplers?
