Post pics if you have 285/70/17s on your 2 door JL! I have 33” Wrangler Duratrac with a 1.5” teraflex performance kit and 1.5” wheel spacers. No rubbing so far, haven’t taken offroad yet.

Is this a 2019? If so what tool did you use to remove the bumper-fender filler things

I ended up using a good knife, I started with a dremel and ugly chewed up plastic.

My benchmade cut through it like butter and I felt silly trying hard way.

I don’t wanna cut up the plastic though I’d like to take it off the right way in case I decide to put them back on for whatever reason.

The teraflex 1.5” performance lift is cheap and makes a good difference. You have no rubbing with stock suspension and no wheel spacers?

I just picked up a JLU Rubicon (with steel bumper and trailering package options) takeoff suspension. I am hoping to get a 1.5" to 2" lift.

I don't wanna cut the plastic haha, just take them off and store them that's all. lol
That's all you need to do. Those are weather-proof connectors in there. Pretty much zero chance of water or mud impacting them. Same as a lot of the JK aftermarket bumpers that left the fog light wiring exposed.

I've had mine uncovered for 7k miles with mud, water, and rain and no issues.
