Clicking from Tire Carrier

Hello All! Just installed Toyo 35" Open Country Tires, Helo Rims, and the Tereflex Tire Carrier. The tire carrier is mounted on the gate and any road imperfections results in a constant clicking noise. Any advice or suggestion on how to better support the spare so it doesn't cause the extra stress/clicking on the gate? Thx!

It doesn't look to be.....looking to see if there's a way to adjust it. Maybe that's the quick fix....

Reading about the PVC fix. Looks like you may have done this too?
Many who have larger tires and/or wheels with more offset have done this to support the tailgate. I have stock tires, but wheels with 0 offset, which created a gap from the bump stop. A quick trip to the Home Depot/Lowe's will solve this.
