I'm going to try the Aliensunshade. I should get it by Saturday.
I don't think you can go wrong with either. I forgot to mention some taller owners have mentioned the JTops tends to sag in the front (mine has very little sagging). The Alien is definitely a tighter fit.

In all, the Alien is a great choice. And you can take the little Alien guy along for the ride.

I have the Spiderweb Shade on my JL and love it. It fits tightly and does't flap while driving. I keep it on when I need to put the soft top up, works well.

We had it on our JK so I ordered one as soon as I ordered my Jeep.

I will say because the Alien sit so low there is NO wind noise or movement as it sits below the wind-line

Just got the hardtop off and the Alien installed. Fit is good and tight with no noise at speed. Does a good job of keeping the sun at bay without loosing the no top feel. Very pleased with it. I like the 2 piece because I can leave the front installed year round. Rear has to be removed to use my hardtop lift.

The grey is a nice accent to the Punk'n. Nice look there, neighbor.

What makes it easier to remove the jtop?
It's not necessarily easier to remove the JTops; it uses straps as opposed to the Alien bungees. With the type of GPCA grab-handles I use, I have to remove them to get the shade on & fitted properly. I don't switch them often, so it ain't a problem. I actually think the Alien is a bit easier to install/remove. I also have an overhead Molle panel, and it doesn't interfere with either shade.

For those with Alien. The clips on the window seemed dumb to me. Remove the 4 window bolts lower window. Lay the 4 front bungees over the bolt holes. Carefully close window and put bolts back in.

Running like that for 9 months.

I just have the Alien over the front seats on a JLU. Just made a 700+ mile trip over the past week with the soft top down the entire time. Most travel was 75-80mph and no issues.

I'm thinking of getting the 2 piece alienshade. Are there any benefits to a 1 piece? Are there other shades out there that I should be considering?
I got the front piece Alien Sunshade and love it so far. I will eventually get the back section but I definitely think the 2 sections look much better vs the one piece.
