Hood Decals - Love em or Hate em (Yes, you too Rubicon owners) :)

I like a hood decal. I had this decal made for my JLUR, and it has since been copied by some others.

I love the 1941 on the hood. I’m tempted to do it on my firecracker Jeep. Your pic might have been the push I needed

I don't have a firecracker, but I love it on my SG. Go for it

Not a big fan of the Rubicon decals seems like on some colors of Wrangled the decal clashes. I just had my JLUS with Rubi Hoof 3M wrapped and I added a Hood sticker however my wrangler is black and the Sticker is flat black so very subdued

I like the look of the Rubicon logo on the edge of the hood. I have played with the idea of doing the matte black center with red trim to match, but still undecided.

I think there is a speed limiter at about 97 mph. Probably due to the speed rating of the tires.

Daktari...pretty cool of you to ask. All MOP and turquoise inlay (multiple pieces), from the headstock, to the neck, and down to the body. I'd hafta go back and count em, but a quick guesstimate would be round 80 individual pieces. Hereyago mate:

Agreed, took off my rubicon hood decals and “wrangler” from front quarter panel first week. I like the simple and cleaner look of less is more. Still debating on the “Jeep” on the front quarter but it reminds me of the old TJ’s with the raised Jeep in the same location

im with you man, it was way too much, so i took it all off, even the “Jeep”

Hate decals. All of them.
I hate them so much I peel them off of other people’s Jeeps in the dead of night.
It’s kinda like a hobby, I reckon.

So... what you're saying is that 96 is the sweet spot to prevent hood flutter and stay out of the speed nanny?

Where did you get those black emblems? I just got a Rubicon and I'm looking for the Rubicon sticker and the Trail Rated/Jeep emblems...

I removed every emblem and decal that I could the first weekend after getting our 2019 JLUR. I have always liked the clean look and have debadged all of my vehicles as soon as I got them.

Funny side note: We did our first jeep club run the day after I removed the decals and a guy asked me if that was a Rubicon ?!?!?! With no decals on the hood ?!?!?! I just laughed and said I know its a Rubicon and that's all that matters.
