Sports with Rubicon Wheels

This thread makes me want to sell my rubicon wheels and tires that are in near new condition and located in North Florida to a local sport owner. Hint hint lol

Here is my 2018 Sport S on oem rubi wheels and tires. This was my goal as they are true hubcentric. Before/after pictured

No issues, spedo is off a bit so would need to be reflashed... there’s also a lot of forums on this if you search, 8th gear doesn’t ever kick in over 70mph with bigger tires, gas mileage definitely goes down without the Rubi gear ratio, etc

Curious how much the fuel economy goes down? are we talking 1 mpg or multiple mpg

yup itll work i went with cooper STT pros 255/75 tho instead of 285/70 on mine. im beyond happy with it and like it. i got all 5 wheels brand new off a guy who had them changed out at the dealer when his jeep showed up. I paid 400 for all 5. Had 0 miles on them. i think the rubicon wheels look great and like them over 97% of wheel options out there.

Does the stock sport spare mount fit the Rubicon tire okay or does the mount need to be upgraded?

I drove about 140 miles to get mine, we put them on there and drove the 140 miles home. The drive was about 50 miles on the highway, the rest was rural roads and a bit in town stuff.
I noticed a 1 mpg difference lower on the return trip on the display.

I don't know however if that is a real drop in efficiency or just because the speedo/ODO are now reading lower.

I really would like to remove the red willys graphic from the wheels.
Has anyone done that?
I have removed some graphics/lettering from things before using acetone, but not sure if it will effect the wheels themselves.

I just bolted mine up.
It's very tight to the light bracket, but it fits.
My only concern is that the door bumpers are really squashed.

Just the base. Only options I got were A/C and LSD. I guess MT you could say is an option anymore lol had to order it. Couldn't find a manual anywhere. I've done some small things here and there. Nothing major tho. Appreciate the comment! Have a great day! @chcg12

So the only issue I find now with the rubicon swap is how do you put your lock back on? Not sure what it is called but the black piece doesnt fit with my spare tire now that they are rubicon wheels.
