Curious if anyone knows - I’m running 35x12.5x17 KM3s on AEV Borah wheels. One tire can’t be balanced on road force machine - have a new one coming. The ride lately honestly is awful - it’s on the back passenger side but slight vibration and honestly hear the ride. Is it possible one tire out of balance would cause a ride this bad?

What are your wheels specs?

And why cant the rim/tire be balanced? What's the issue?

They’re the AEV Borah wheels made specifically for the JL

I guess the tire is out of round?

A rim that is made specifically for the JL??

There is no such thing as car specific rims(excluding very few million dollar cars)

What's so special about it?

Again, what are the specs on your rims bud

Am I reading that right? +25mm offset

That's a heck of an offset for a wheel that large

You have rubicon?

Could be an issue with wheel not tire

PS my knowledge on tire balancing side is not awesome as never had issues before. Does this photo help with tire that had issue?

It happens occasionally, I had a ridge grappler that wouldn’t balance, they over nighted one to my shop no worries....:)
Did that one tire - the one not able to be balanced cause issues at least very noticeable issues while driving? Honestly, this is a very bad ride now

Yes re: rubicon

Lots of guys on here are running this wheel with zero issues and never had problems with AEV items in past

Yes, you could tell something was off, it was like driving home after wheeling with mud caked on one of your wheels.
Thx man - hopefully replacing the tire this coming week fixes everything

In meantime have to put about 2-300 miles on these before replacement hoping doesn’t wear too much on the suspension
