I got my wife the Red Rubicon Dash Panels for our Mojito Rubicon for Christmas and we just finished up our installation video! Big thanks to David (@awesomebluejl) on Instagram for his advice and assistance with some tips for removing the dash.

wow that's pretty intense. Great instruction!
i thought about buying another regular dash to hydro dip, but 300$ is an expensive experiment.

See if you can find someone selling a gray dash they have removed. You should be able to find one for around $175-$200

Excellent video. I have the preferred red dash on my Sting Gray. It’s nice to know the steps if I ever need to take my dash apart in the future.

I would be worried about introducing rattles if the dash wasn’t put together as tight as it is from the factory. From my past experience on other vehicles; once you disassemble an OEM assembly it doesn’t go back together as perfect as it should. All those clips become just a little weaker and could potentially create rattles.
I absolutely HATE rattles.

Again, thanks for the excellent video.

We have zero rattles! But I do recommend picking up some extra clips before starting the job!

Roughly how long did this take?
It’s hard to say because filming makes everything 3 times longer. But I could probably do it in 2-3 hours now. Just get yourself some of the plastic clips ahead of time.

Thanks. I have a rattle behind the drivers side vent. I am trying to decide if I want to tackle it or take to the dealer. I am going to see what I have access to behind the dash speaker first I think.

Maybe you can also start by trying to go up from underneath the dash as well? Have you modified anything in or around your dash? I’m surprised to hear you have a rattle.
