Picking up a MOAB on Friday, and may install a 2 or 2.5" lift. Any opinions on these choices? All about the same price installed give or take $100. I ran the MOPAR lift on my last Sahara, rode fine to me. A local aftermarket shop suggests either the JKS or AEV. Thoughts?

Jks with lower control arms.... I have an AEV lift on JKUR that my son drives... Okay not fantastic and I'm just not a fan of brackets.

Out of those three I would go JKS and add geo brackets up front. Will improve the ride greatly.

If you want a 2"-2.5" lift then don't go Mopar as its yielding closer to 3.5". That being said, i personally like my Mopar Lift because of the ride quality as its my daily driver as well and it works really well on the trails. AEV is a solid brand and has a good reputation for ride quality. I cant speak to JKS as ive never ran one.

The Mopar is also going to need a lot more in order to make it work right (geometry brackets/arms) since it does yield more than the advertised ride height. AEV is great, but I find their kits are lacking compared to JKS offering a trackbar, and quick discos, and the option for standard duty or heavy duty springs.

Would you run geometry correction brackets with the extended arms that come with the Mopar lift, or just adjustable arms tossing the Mopar ones? I would think the fixed Mopar longer arms and the brackets may put too much caster in there, and I have already hit the LCA mount in its current location, so I can't imagine how bad a drop bracket would get beat up here.

I would go with adjustable front lower control arms. Geometry correction brackets are cheaper and a viable option but they hang lower (prone to getting hung up on, scraping etc.) and you don't have the fine tuning you would have with adjustable arms to fine tune your caster. Depending on the amount of lift you get with the Mopar you can run the mopar extended (they are 1/4" longer) and the geo brackets. I personally have adjustable lower control arms with the Mopar lift and run about 6.2 of caster which dramatically stabilized my ride and made the jeep enjoyable to drive again.
