I completely respected John McCain and agreed with a lot of his ideas. He was a true American hero and a class act. But picking Palin as a running mate was not a stellar moment for him. I guess I could thank him for giving the election my liberal party.

I agree. She should not have been on the ticket... When she resigned at the Governor early, That was just plain overconfidence... And making Bristol her champion of Abstinence only education... What a joke.

All this talk of brakes. The BAMH has a pac brake, closes off the exhaust. I'd love to be able to leave it on, but then the cruise control won't function on the highway. So I have to turn it on and off depending on what's going on. oh well, poor me.

On my truck it’s air operated and either on or off. But it will hold the gear I’m in when going down a hill. It’s an Allison 6 speed, and when I slow down it downshifts quickly. It will not upshift until I touch the accelerator. Really handy for the steep grades around here.

sounds pretty cool. I don't have a CDL so I'm not able to drive our Freightliners with that setup. As far as the programming on the Rams, I think the transmission will hold gear until you're moving too slow for that gear as well. I haven't had a chance to take any of them on a big enough hill to see how it works.

We'll have to look at a plus to counteract that. You can just pull over wherever and just walk to the back whenever you've gotta go. And then you can make lunch and take a nap while you're back there too!

Very true. I test drove some other BAMH's that did allow you to just leave it on and the cruise still worked. Guess I got the "cheap" model. bwahaahahahahahaahahahaa
