Ugh. Maintenance maintenance maintenance.
Eating away my JL fund :crying:
Just going to throw a plug into it and call it a day for now. She hates these tires so probably get her back on the same tires I have this fall

Ok, resident expert: cruised through some puddles yesterday. When do I need the snorkel? And, more importantly, at what time do I install before the time I need it? Which puddle is the deep one?

The Jeep can pretty much push in as far as fender deep, the claimed 30” of water fording is because where the diff breathers run up too. Shortest one is the rear, it’s tucked behind the rear passenger tire about tub height
These are a cheap and easy thing to extend, just need some 1/4 to 1/4 barbed fittings and 1/4 fuel line. Runnthe front up to the fire wall and the rear behind the tail light
Now for the actual snorkel, they are not only good just for the accidental hood dip but also to help limit the dust ingestion being higher up and out of the engine bay. The stock intake is generally ok for most wheeling, just don’t hit puddles fast shooting water to the atmosphere. See more people hydro lock doing that than actual water crossings

Thanks. May need to do some reroutes.
And no longer running a stock air intake.

Honestly, this was my office today.

I had to walk away from one project because I was angry, and went to the boss and asked if he was going to send the email to the building owner to inquire why the heat was still on, or if i was going to do it.

He decided it would be better for the relationship if he did it....

:giggle:

Hot RA is not happy RA....
