With 40s I would think you'd have to change the axles people are going to break axles that's a lot of extra weightThese jeeps with 38s or 40s are just kick ass. I love the look.

Are those tires too wide to go through a carwash or they still fit ?car wash by my house is very safe does not damage the vehicle at all any vehicles but I've been through their hand wash daze the pain 45 and $50 to hand wash my duallys and I had 40s 1550s on my powerstroke and I'm not going through that again I don't have time to wash it myself way too busy.especially in the wintertime it's nice to just drive through the carwash I got $14 a month unlimited washe. I can run it through any many times I want a monthRK 2.5” and 39” BFG Krawlers. Getting the fender light modification next.

What lift did you put on thatLooks like you've got about an inch of upward travel on the rear before you hit the back edge of your sliders. Hope you've got a ladder!

No......The Rubicon comes with DANA 44s which are pretty tough. I know these will hold up very well for how I drive. For example, I had a 1985 Toyota 4x4 w/40" Dick Cepek Fun Country's and those axles looked like spaghetti they were so small. I put it through hell with no issues. My guess is these jeep axles are much, much better. If needed, I would upgrade to some DANA 60 axles.Have you changed axles yet I know this is an older post
Got the 3.5" Metalcloak Game Changer Rocksport lift installed with the Patagonia 38's. Drives great and still fits in the garage. Now on to the next project!
What backspacing are you running?
