Have you installed a Poison Spyder tire carrier? I have questions.

Kinda. The V bracket isn't lining up so I was hoping to check spacing with someone else to see if it was me or the carrier. The back and forth with Poison Spyder has been pretty slow. So I've been looking at expanding my searching perimeters. :)

Everything about it is very nice. Just need to double check my math.

Understand. Your jeep is looking good. Your old Tj is why I swapped an 8.8 in one of my old tj. Next thing I know your on the cover of mags. I followed that build like the stock market. Nicely done.

I have the same set up. If by V bracket, you mean the portion of the carrier that latches into the tailgate to secure it when it is closed or open it when you pull on the handle, then you will want a tad bit of offset. I'm not a professional installer, but I positioned mine to line up perfectly and there was no resistance. This left me with some chatter - not much, but I really expected a quiet experience. I then adjusted it to have a tad bit offset so there is just a small amount of resistance when you close the door. This is ideal because it prevents any movement when offroad. I'm not sure that this is a direct answer to your question, but if you are experiencing a slight offset, you might be exactly where you want to be so that there is no chatter when offroad.

Do y’all know if they offer predrilled holes for rear back up sensors? Haven’t seen any with sensors installed.

Looking at how the outside bends in I don't see how the outside sensors will work properly. Beginning to believe the inside sensors will pick up the spare. Thinking about just turning the rear sensors off.

10/4 I don’t have sensors on mine but my brother does. Trying to find bumpers and tire carriers for both before Moab in july

Do you think the factory rear steel bumper could be modded to work with the frame mounted poison spyder carrier. Either notched or a hole drilled and beefed under neath. Haven’t seen poison spyder up close.

The stock bearing retainer piece bolts to the bumper in a very specific way. So you'd have to modify it to attach to the stock frame somehow.

Gotcha. How do you like the carrier and bumper so far. Might just have to drill holes for the brothers bumper.
