Did you have them valves from accutune or anything or just straight off of the shelf KingsI have Kings on my 3.5 RK X Factor and it is great.
Thanks man. Wondering if I should get the Kings for a 0-2.5in loft or get the 3-5in lift Kings.JL Kings for up to 4 inch lift.
What happened with your RRD shocks today?Anyone running king shocks with a Rock Krawler 2.5 X factor? Wondering how they would pair with the Rock Krawler springs. Haven’t really been able to find specs on the 2.25RRD shocks vs the 3-5in lift Kings with reservoir. My 2.25RRD kinda took a dump on me on the trails today so looking to just replace with Kings.
They’ve been leaking since the day I got them. Mostly down the shaft into a puddle of oil. Called Rock Krawler, told me to monitor them for 30 days. Did a little bit flexing today and noticed both the fronts were leaking from there now. Rear both still pool up a bunch of oil down the shaft and underneath the rubber bump stops on the valve. What happened with your RRD shocks today?
2 pucks front and 1 puck rear as per the instructions that were given to me. I’ll give y’all a call though for sure.Call us at the shop, they're under warranty. How are your bumpstops currently set up?
Sounds good, talk to Adam C or Jeremy2 pucks front and 1 puck rear as per the instructions that were given to me. I’ll give y’all a call though for sure.
Shoot me a PM, we will get them swapped out, that's obviously an issue.I’ve got the same problem on all four of mine! I can clean them and a day or two later same result. Been working the issue with Northridge 4x4. I was told to monitor for 30 days, so for 30 days now they’ve been leaking. Not impressed, I’m looking into King’s, Fox Factory Race or Falcons 3.3’s
The name "Adam's Driveshaft" is a bit of a misnomer, they are a local retailer and installer and can give you an in-person, second opinion by a company who has worked with a ton of RRD shocks in the past. They are well equipped and knowledgeable. The pictures you have posted here are not the pictures sent in by Molly, the photos sent by Molly are attached and are what the response is based on. In the photos that are attached to this post, there is no cause for concern.
If Molly has sent photos that are not the current status of your shocks, please, let me know. We would be happy to make things right. In the future, there is no requirement that you go through the retailer you purchased from for warranty claims, you can contact us directly at 518-270-9822
